Your voice is now your light switch. Seattle-based startup Wyze is back with a new color-changing smart light bulb. Called Wyze Bulb Color, the new lighting option enables users to change the color of their home’s lighting to suit their mood no matter the occasion, as well as utilizing different colors to serve as visual notifications and reminders.
The Wyze Bulb Color features RBG LEDs, enabling it to produce 16 million different colors
and temperatures to get your ambiance just right. Users can control the light using the Wyze app, which has a simple interface, easy scheduling and optional integration with other Wyze products.
Speaking of other Wyze products, last year the company which is known for its offering of affordable home products, launched Wyze Cam v3, Wyze Cam Outdoor, Wyze Thermostat, Wyze Video Doorbell, Wyze Noise-Cancelling Headphones, Wyze Robot Vacuum, Wyze Sprinkler Controller, and even a Wyze Home Monitoring service.
Wyze says that its new color light bulb can be used with various smart modes, including a Vacation Mode for when you’re away from home, schedules, automations, and sleep routines. It works with Alexa and Google Assistant.
Bright, cool-white for morning coffee and dim, soft-white for a relaxing evening, Wyze Bulb can do both and so much more. With a temperature range from 2,700k – 6,500k and a dimmable 800 lumen (60W equivalent) bulb, you can have the perfect lighting to set the mood.
Wyze was founded by a team that met while working at Amazon and its name in the tech space is continually growing.
