Advertised as being the world’s smallest inkjet printer, the Selpic P1 is a palm-size gadget suitable for printing directly on a variety of media, ranging from paper and textile to leather and wood. With the Selpic you can print text, images, QR codes, barcodes or logos simply by dragging the wireless
ultra-lightweight printer across a surface (even curved or uneven) like a pen.
You can also hold the pen vertically and change the printing direction from left to right or right to left.
A perfect tool for the daily paperwork, arts, crafts, and entertainment, the P1 measures 0.94 by 1.2 by 5.1 inches (HWD) and weighs about two-tenths of a pound.
It supports eight different ink colors (black, cyan, green, light cyan, light magenta, magenta, red, and yellow), each in its individual cartridge, one at a time.
The cartridge printheads feature 300 tiny nozzles with 0.002 of nozzle spacing while each nozzle can, according to the company, inject 18 million drops per second. The resolution is 600 dpi.
While ensuring bright colors, high brightness and strong tinting power, it greatly reduces the possibility of spray clogging. The ultra-high printing efficiency and 5ml ink cartridge make P1 can print 90 pages of A4 paper.
The printer which uses a new water-based ink, comes along with a user-friendly smartphone app that lets you define the print artwork. All you have to do is to connect the Selpic P1 with your smartphone over wifi, then customize your artwork, hit the Print button and your ideas come alive in seconds. It also supports multi-language, multi-line, and multi-angle printing. It can meet all your printing needs at home, office or on the go.
The California-based Selpic team has been focusing on the printer revolution since 2016 and plans to shake-up the smart printing industry one product at a time.
