South East European stocks were mostly lower on Thursday amid a volatile week, as investors monitor the war in Ukraine. Peace talks between Russia and Ukraine resulted in little progress on key issues. Meanwhile, the European Central Bank opted to keep interest rates steady. ECB President Christine Lagarde said the situation in eastern Europe could lead to more pressure on food and commodity prices, as well as “worsen supply-side constraints again.”
