Shares on the stock market indices in South East Europe were higher on Monday on hopes that further talks between Kyiv and Moscow might ease the situation in Ukraine. The talks between the two warring sides are to be continued on Tuesday, with no discernable progress reported after today’s meeting. Bucharest led the gains in the region with the BET index jumping 2.11%. Rest of Europe’s markets also closed with sharp gains.
