South East European markets kicked off the new trading week in the green with Athens leading the gains in the region. Major indices in rest of Europe were also higher as hopes for progress in Russia-Ukraine talks boosted sentiment. The next round of one-on-one talks between Kyiv and Moscow takes place in Turkey on March 28-30 after Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Tayyip Erdogan agreed in a telephone call on Sunday for Istanbul to host the talks, which Ankara hopes will lead to a ceasefire in Ukraine.
