Alexander Lukashenko – Belarusian President

Minsk should be included in negotiations aimed at ending the war in Ukraine, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Thursday, according to the Moscow Times. He also complained that Minsk is not a participant in rounds of peace talks between delegations from Kyiv and Moscow, which have been held in Belarus and Istanbul.


Jose Manuel Albares – Spanish Foreign Minister

The possibility of Ukraine joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is “not on the table right now”, Jose Manuel Albares, Spain’s Foreign Minister told Sky News on Thursday.  Madrid supports Ukraine’s candidacy for the European Union, Albares added although he cannot “judge what will be the final result.”


Dmytro Kuleba – Ukrainian Foreign Minister

Kyiv will keep pressuring its allies, particularly the Western nations, to introduce an energy embargo on Russia over its military interventions in Ukraine,  Kuleba told reporters ahead of the meeting of the foreign ministers of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) members in Brussels.

Russia suffered significant losses in Ukraine Peskov said in an interview with Sky News on Thursday. He also stated that the West needs to be aware of the fact that the world is broader than just the United States and the European Union.
