Equities in South East Europe continued to trade in a mixed fashion on Thursday as major stock markets in Europe closed higher. The European Central Bank (ECB) decided to keep the key interest rate the same but confirmed the end of its bond buying in the third quarter amid surging inflation. “Any adjustments to the key ECB interest rates will take place some time after the end of the Governing Council’s net purchases under the APP and will be gradual,” the ECB’s Governing Council said. In Croatia, the central bank lowered its 2022 GDP growth forecast to 3.2% and also lifted its inflation projection to 5.4%.
