The EU head and India’s PM Narendra Modi agreed on Monday to establish EU-India Trade and Technology Council at their meeting in New Delhi. Von der Leyen noted that strengthening the relations between the bloc and India is “a key priority for this decade.”

Putin congratulated Emmanuel Macron on winning the presidential elections. “I sincerely wish you success in your state activities, as well as good health and well-being,” Putin wrote in a telegram directed to the French President, the Kremlin press service reported on Monday.
PAKISTAN
Miftah Ismail – Finance Minister
Pakistan seeks increase in size and duration of IMF program. “I’ve requested the fund and I think they have, largely, they’ve agreed to extend this program for another one year,” Reuters quoted Ismail as saying. “I’ve also requested that they enhance the funding available to Pakistan from $6 billion under this program to perhaps a little bit more.”
