[…] What we want to do is get on and use this moment, which I think is decisive and conclusive, and continue with our agenda.”

Sherman told reporters on Tuesday that North Korea would face a “swift” and “forceful” response if it were to conduct a nuclear test. “I believe that not only the ROK, the United States and Japan but the entire world will respond in a strong and clear manner,” she was quoted as saying after her meeting with South Korea’s First Vice Foreign Minister Cho Hyun-dong, according to Yonhap. “We are prepared and we will continue our trilateral discussion tomorrow,” she added.

Varhelyi in his speech in the European Parliament on Monday requested from Turkey to take a more decisive stance regarding the situation in Ukraine and the sanctions the European Union is imposing on Russia.
“We welcome Turkey’s constructive role in de-escalating the conflict. […] At the same time, we continue to call on Turkey to take a stronger stance that is more in line with that of the EU, we call on Turkey to be more vigilant when it comes to preventing the circumvention of sanctions,” Varhelyi said.
