South East European stocks retreated on Wednesday in line with rest of the world as global sentiment remained volatile. A cautious undertone prevailed ahead of a speech by European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde at the Sintra forum, in Portugal alongside Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell and Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey. Investors are also monitoring the economic outlook and trajectory of central bank policy tightening.
