Stock markets in South East Europe ended the week in positive territory mirroring the trend across Europe thanks to a stronger-than-expected U.S. non-farm payroll report for the month of June. Bucharest and Zagreb bucked the trend. In Romania, the economy expanded 6.40% in the first quarter of 2022 over the same quarter of the previous year, official data showed. Croatia’s trade gap widened almost 70% y-o-y in the first five months of the year. In other news, Zagreb bourse announced it boosted its stake in Skopje counterpart to 21.99%.
