-Romania’s finance ministry raised RON3 billion on Thursday (Nov 10) through two government paper auctions, at annual average yields of 8.83% and 8.74%, National Bank of Romania data showed.
-The Bucharest Stock Exchange’s operating revenues stood at RON24.5 million in the first nine months of 2022, up 33% y-o-y.
COMPANIES
-Despite the challenging times, most of the companies (70%) participating in a survey conducted by online recruiting platform eJobs said they would offer Christmas bonuses to their employees this year, mainly extra sums of money.
-Bucharest-listed OMV Petrom, the largest integrated energy company in Southern and Eastern Europe, is reportedly interested in Midia Natural Gas Development (MGD) project, the only new offshore gas exploitation in the Black Sea that is furthermore reportedly open to strategic investors, Profit.ro reported.
-Bucharest-listed One United Properties, the largest green investor and developer of residential, mixed-use, and office real estate in Romania, ended the first nine months of 2022 with consolidated turnover worth RON908.8 million, up 45%, and RON421 million net profit, 120% above the level of the same period of 2021.
